L’11 Luglio 2013 l’incredibile diventa realtà! Immaginare Rocky che flirta con Apollo non sarà più un desiderio nascosto perché al Gay Village tutto sarà possibile con: Troppi Film Etero? DoppiaGay!, la nuova competizione che stravolgerà i grandi classici del cinema mondiale, ridoppiati in chiave rainbow. Conducono la serata Paolo Ruffini (direttamente da ColoradoCafè) e Vladimir Luxuria… E come avviene per ogni competizione che di rispetti, al termine della serata verrà premiato direttamente dal pubblico in sala, il doppiaggio più bello e divertente.

Hanno partecipato in tanti, ma solo una piccola selezione di video è stata scelta per accedere a quella che è la serata conclusiva di questo nuovo contest lanciato dalla geniale mente della direttrice artistica Vladimir Luxuria. Ormai da tempo infatti, è partito il concorso per il doppiaggio gay più bello, a cui partecipa anche il toscano Paolo Ruffini, come conduttore e vero rappresentante di questo filone di “doppiatori per gioco”, che tanto appassiona i cinefili e i videoamatori, tanto da fornire una vera e propria “videografia youtubiana” di doppiaggi realizzati spesso in tipici dialetti italiani.

Proprio Paolo Ruffini infatti, è noto sul tubo nazionale con iodoppiochannel, il canale creato dall’ Associazione Cinematografica Nido del Cuculo, che da anni posta in rete spezzoni di grandi classici ridoppiati in dialetto livornese. Durante la serata Troppi Film Etero? Doppia Gay!, verranno proiettati alcuni dei più divertenti doppiaggi della Nido del Cuculo, con la supervisione di Ruffini e Luxuria, che presenteranno al pubblico i doppiaggi gay in gara.

Dopo aver vissuto per 30 anni sullo stesso pianeta,i Vektan e gliHelghast sono ormai giunti sull’orlo del conflitto. Entrambe le fazioni sono decise a difendere la propria patria e reclamano ciò che ritengono loro di diritto. È così che la fiducia tra le parti sprofonda ai minimi storici. Il muro costruito per separare i due territori, a quel punto, non è più in grado di contenere i moti di ostilità.

Nel ruolo di uno Shadow Marshal, servirete la Vektan Security Agency sotto il comando del direttore Sinclair, caricandovi sulle spalle l’arduo compito di preservare lo status quo in favore dei Vektan. Un agente segreto Helghast di nome Echo, tuttavia, ha ricevuto ordini simili e non si fermerà di fronte a nulla pur di portare a termine la sua missione.

Per dare vita a questi due personaggi chiave ci siamo assicurati lo straordinario talento di David Harewood e Jamie Gray Hyder, che interpretano rispettivamente Sinclair ed Echo.Davidè un attore britannico noto soprattutto per aver prestato il volto al responsabile di un’altra agenzia d’intelligence, quel David Estes che dirige il Centro Antiterrorismo della CIA in Homeland, serie TV osannata dalla critica. Jamieè invece una giovane attrice americana, salita alla ribalta grazie al ruolo della licantropa Danielle nella pluripremiata serie di True Blood.

Assistere alla nascita e alla crescita di questi personaggi, arricchiti dalle voci, dalle performance attoriali e dall’attitudine ai rispettivi ruoli di David e Jamie, è stata per noi un’esperienza fantastica. Thaana script

Origin

The Thaana script was developed during the 18th century by an unknown inventor. It first appeared in government documents in 1703 and replaced an older alphabet known as Dhives akuru.

Some of the Taana letters were derived from Dhives akuru, while others were modelled on Arabic numerals. Vowel indication is modelled on the Arabic system of diacritics.

Notable features

• Words are written from right to left, but numerals are written from left to right.
• Originally Arabic numerals were used, however nowadays Western numerals (1, 2, 3, etc) are used.
• Vowels are indicated with diacritics which appear above or below the consonants. When vowels are come at the beginning of a word or are pronounced separately, they are attached to the letter alifu.
• When the sukun symbol is combined with the letter alifu it either doubles the following consonant, or if it appears at the end of a word after an "e", it adds and "h" sound.
• A number of letters are used solely for writing Arabic loan words.

Dhivehi (Maldivian), an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 300,000 people in the Maldives and on India's Minicoy Islands.

A poco più di due mesi dall'uscita di Grand Theft Auto 5 prevista per il prossimo 17 settembre, continuano ad arrivare indiscrezioni sull'atteso e annunciato capolavoro di Rockstar Games. Sembra infatti che sul profilo Linkedin dell'attore Tony Garcia sia stata inserita come esperienza di lavoro, il doppiaggio di un personaggio di GTA 5 chiamato Mariachi, un personaggio che dal nome dovrebbe rivelarsi messicano. Garcia ha prontamente rimosso dal suo profilo questo elemento, rimozione probabilmente richiesta da R* che continua a voler tenere nascoste ancora tante cose sul suo annunciato best seller.

Origin

The Deseret alphabet was devised as an alternative to the Latin alphabet for writing the English language. It was developed during the 1850s at the University of Deseret, now the University of Utah, and was promoted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormon or LDS Church, under Church President Brigham Young (1801-1877).

The name Deseret is taken from a word in the Book of Mormon and means "honeybee". It reflects the Mormon use of the beehive as a symbol of co-operative industry.

Brigham Young's secretary, George D. Watt, was among the designers of the Deseret alphabet and is thought to have used the Pitman English Phonotypic Alphabet of 1847 as the model.

The Mormon Church commissioned two typefaces and published four books using the Deseret alphabet. The Church-owned Deseret News also published passages of scripture using the alphabet on occasion. In addition, some historical records, diaries, and other materials were hand-written using this script, and it had limited use on coins and signs. There is also one tombstone in Cedar City, Utah, written in the Deseret alphabet. However, the alphabet failed to gain wide acceptance and was not actively promoted after 1869.

Today, the Deseret alphabet remains of interest primarily to historians and hobbyists. It is also the official alphabet of the fictional (but actual) Republic of Molossia.
